Snyder v. Town of Potsdam, 2018 U.S. Dist. LEXIS 203118 (N.D.N.Y. Nov. 30, 2018)
The federal court for the Northern District of New York granted Defendants’ post-discovery motion for summary judgment, dismissing Plaintiff’s employment civil rights action. This federal employment claim was brought by a former male employee who claimed that he was discriminated against based upon his gender in both the conditions of his employment and compensation. The Plaintiff brought his claims under the Equal Pay Act, Title VII and the Human Rights Law. April Laws and Gregg Johnson filed a post-discovery motion for complete summary judgment which terminated the lawsuit prior to trial.
