Claimant filed a formal EEO Complaint alleging discrimination under the Pregnancy Discrimination Act (“PDA”) (an amendment of the Civil Rights Act), the Americans with Disabilities Act (“ADA”), and the New York State Human Rights Law (“HRL”). Our team submitted a position statement and answer on behalf of the County. Upon completion of the Commission’s investigation of Claimant’s allegations, the Commission issued a Dismissal and Notice. (Claimant is pursuing her claims in federal court.)
