Doe v. Brittonkill Cent. Sch. Dist. Bd. of Educ, 2018 U.S. Dist. LEXIS 212598 (NDNY 2018) (finalized by Text Order dated January 25, 2019 (Dkt. No. 75))
The federal district court for the Northern District of New York granted defendants’ motion to dismiss a civil rights action brought by a parent and a student. The lawsuit advanced multiple claims of discrimination and statutory civil rights claims against the school district and a number of school officials and staff. April Laws and Gregg Johnson filed a pre-discovery motion seeking dismissal of all claims which successfully disposed of all claims and the lawsuit prior to any discovery practice.
